Abstract:
Recent progress in femtosecond time-resolved optical pump-probe spectroscopy in our laboratory is reviewed briefly. Improvements in significant parameters such as the sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio have been achieved so that much smaller signals can be detected. Using this system together with a static exchange gas continuous flow cryostat, various materials such as superconductors, nanomaterials, and semiconductors can be investigated, and important results in material structure and other aspects can be obtained.
