Abstract: The integration of organic semiconductor and spintronics research into the new subject of organic spintronics is reviewed. Emphasis is placed on describing organic semiconductors, especiallyr conjugated polymer and the characteristicss of their carriers, recent hot topics of spintronics, and progress in organic spintronics.
