在北京谱仪Ⅲ实验上寻找超出标准模型的新物理

New physics beyond the Standard Model explored at the Beijing Spectrometer Ⅲ

  • 摘要: 文章介绍了在北京谱仪Ⅲ实验中通过稀有过程寻找超出标准模型新物理现象的研究。基于北京谱仪Ⅲ采集的大量J/ψ、ψ(3686)、ψ(3770)等粲偶素数据样本,可以寻找粲偶素弱衰变、粲夸克的味道改变中性流、带电轻子味道破坏,以及重子数、轻子数、C宇称、CP宇称破坏等。另外,也可以寻找暗物质与不可见衰变,以及超出标准模型的轻奇特态等稀有过程。这些研究为在陶粲能区寻找超出标准模型的新物理提供了很多独特的机会。

     

    Abstract: We review the search for new physics phenomena beyond the Standard Model through rare processes at the Beijing Spectrometer Ⅲ (BESⅢ). Utilizing the huge data samples of charmonium states such as J/ψ, ψ(3686), and ψ(3770), the BESⅢ collaboration hunts for rare processes such as weak decays of charmonium, flavor-changing neutral currents, charged lepton flavor violation, as well as violations of baryon number, lepton number, C parity, and CP parity. We also search for dark matter and invisible decays, as well as the exotic light states beyond the Standard Model. These studies offer unique opportunities to explore new physics beyond the Standard Model in the tau-charm energy region.
